Understanding the Application
Vehicle category, seating position, mounting arrangement and intended use. Without these, any recommendation is a guess dressed up as advice.
// Automotive occupant restraint components & OEM supply
We supply seat belt assemblies and components to automotive businesses, working from the application rather than from a catalogue. This page describes how we operate and, just as importantly, where our role stops.
Automotive restraint components sit in an awkward place in the supply chain. They are technical enough that a generalist supplier rarely asks the right questions, and specific enough that the same part number can be correct for one vehicle and wrong for another. Businesses that need them end up spending time translating between what they have and what they can buy.
Seat Belt OEM Supplier exists to close that gap. We work only within automotive occupant restraint — seat belt assemblies and the components that make them up — so that a supply conversation can start at the application rather than at a catalogue.
That means asking about the vehicle, the seating position, the mounting arrangement and what is being fitted or replaced, before discussing what can be supplied. It is a slower first conversation and a considerably faster second one.
The useful question is not “what do you stock?” — it is “what does this application actually need?”
These are the areas where a component supplier either adds value to an automotive business or gets in its way.

Webbing to tongue, tongue to buckle, retractor to belt path, hardware to anchorage. Interfaces are checked before quantities are discussed.

What is supplied should match what was described — and continue to, on the next order. Consistency is the property most repeat buyers actually pay for.

Clear answers, including when the answer is that something is outside what we can appropriately supply or advise on.
Not a timeline of the company — a description of how an account tends to progress from a first enquiry to settled, repeatable supply.
You describe the application and what you need. We ask whatever is missing — usually the seating position, the mounting arrangement, and whether this is a replacement for something already fitted or part of a new build.
Photographs, part references, drawings or samples are far more useful than descriptions. This is the stage where compatibility questions get resolved rather than deferred.
A component or matched assembly is proposed, with the reasoning behind the selection stated plainly, along with anything that remains dependent on information only you can confirm.
The first order establishes the reference point: what was supplied, against what description, for which application. Everything afterwards is measured against that record.
Subsequent orders start from the established reference rather than from scratch. Where an application changes, the review starts again — deliberately, not by assumption.
Being specific about the limits of a supply role is more useful to a technical buyer than a broad claim. This is what we do and what sits with someone else.
We do not present ourselves as a design authority, a test house or a certification body. We do not claim manufacturing capacity, laboratory facilities, crash testing, homologation approval, or certification we have not stated and cannot evidence.
Design validation, type approval, regulatory compliance for a specific vehicle and market, and the fitment work itself sit with the parties qualified and appointed to carry them out. Where a requirement depends on any of those, that should be established through the appropriate route before components are ordered.
If information relevant to your decision is not published on this site, it is because we would rather discuss it against your actual application than state something general that may not apply to it.
Send the vehicle, the seating position and what you are fitting or replacing. We will tell you what we can establish and what still needs confirming.
